“The function of ritual ... is to give form to the human life, not in the way of a mere surface arrangement, but in depth.”
Do you crave a practice that can:
Help you feel rooted within the changes, disruptions and storms of life?
Focus your attention on the significant moments of your life, no matter how small they may seem?
Provide healing space around the moments that feel painful, overwhelming or worthy of celebration?
Join us to deepen your relationship and confidence with the nourishing Art of Spontaneous Ritual.
The act of ritual, whether in a spontaneous moment or meticulously planned, is an intentional practice to mark something as significant, to spend time in the liminal, and to hold space for change and transition.
Ritual-creation and enactment is intimately tied to our human experience, and it is an important aspect of our wellness and stability as dynamic and ever-changing humans.
Let’s explore the art of ritual in our lives, and in the system of Reiki.
Through this journey into the art of ritual, we will:
Explore the anatomy of ritual, guided by an exquisite piece of music written to build understanding and connection to the importance of ritual in our lives;
Learn a simple, 4-part system for creating spontaneous rituals in the midst of daily life to honor, celebrate, focus on or grieve the significant moments in life.
Participate in crafting and enacting a spontaneous ritual focused on something meaningful to the group;
Gain confidence in your ability to generate meaningful rituals in your life to mark transitions, honor people and moments, process and transform painful experiences, and deeply celebrate life.
