You’re invited to the Winter Solstice 2021 Herbal Medicine Exchange!
In the Times Before the Pandemic, HeartScapes hosted a seasonal exchange devoted to the medicines of the season. THIS TRADITION RETURNS IN WINTER 2021!
These gatherings are a time to meet other folks with interest in making herbal medicine, exchange recipes and techniques, do a bit of meditation practice together, and possibly a community medicine making project. There is no cost to attend, just your contribution to the exchange :)
Here's how it'll work:
Register below to attend—there’s no cost to attend but you must register. We can fit a maximum of 8 people.
Each person is asked to bring 10 items to share, either 10 of the same item or a mix of different things. See below for more details.
We will then each go to our herbs, our cauldrons, our gardens and favorite recipe books and brew up one or more herb-based concoctions that hold the energy of the season for you and that you'd feel joyful sharing. For example, in the past people have brought: Tea blends, tinctures, skin care products, spice blends for cooking, food, massage oils, cleaning products, aromatherapy products….the list goes on and on, and the possibilities are endless! You do NOT have to have experience with this sort of thing—this is your invitation to just try something out! Need help finding an idea? Reach out, I’m happy to help!
We will each bring our concoctions to the gathering: Please bring 10 items, either all the same or a mix of different things. The excess items will be shared out to the community, and each of us will go home with so much seasonal magic it will make your heart swell!
COVID Safety Details: This gathering will conform to the COVID safety guidelines that are active on the date we gather. As the situation shifts and changes regularly, I will be sharing updates on that up to the day of the gathering.
Lastly, feel free to share this invite with other herbalists, hobby herbalists, kitchen witches, and those who would like to learn!
