A 21-Day Day Reiki Journey with the Summer Solstice
The system of Reiki is built on the foundation of ancient Shinto and esoteric Buddhist traditions. A central concept that helps to organize the system of Reiki from these origins is that of Sanmitsu, a Japanese word meaning “the three mysteries” of body, breath and mind, our pathways for experiencing life and the world around us.
Building a healthy relationship with these three aspects of our Self, and bringing them into consistent alignment with each other, is essential to experiencing a lasting sense of wholeness, health and grounding. Therefore, the system of Reiki is formed by practices that align our body, breath and mind, each of them approaching alignment through the lens of one of these three entry points.
During this 21-Day Reiki Journey, we’ll learn practices of the body, breath and mind drawn from the system of Reiki, and directly experience the ways they work together within us to bring us into balance. We’ll open the portal to Summer over 21 days of 30-min practice sessions.
Who is This Journey For?: This experience is for anyone with interest in Reiki and/or Buddhist and Shinto practice, whether or not you have trained in it.
Format: Each 30-minute session will include deep and meditative practices. You will have access to recordings of each session and additional materials via a private webpage, and can attend as many or as few live sessions as you like.
When & How: June 1 - 21, daily from 12:00 - 12:30 Pacific Time, USA. Once registered, you are welcome to drop in to as many of these sessions as you like. We’ll gather over Zoom, link provided upon registration. Recordings of most sessions will be made available.
Investment: Offered on a sliding scale of $55 - $75. The actual price is $65 for all 21 days. Select a discounted ticket if the full price is a hardship for you. Select a Pay-it-Forward price to sponsor a discounted ticket for others.
