The Journey Home: A Monthly Women's Circle

  • HeartScapes 1738 Pomona Drive Davis, CA, 95616 United States (map)
I left Home so long ago now that I would not remember my own face...But I know that Home, Home remembers me.
— Em Claire

We’re all on a journey to a home that remembers us. That home exists within our deep center; and it exists within the connections we form with each other.

Let’s walk a few steps of the journey home together

This monthly circle is a place for women-identified folks to gather in laughter, song, truth-telling, creativity, support, companionship, good tea, wellness practices and ritual.

Within the simple, supportive container Michaela designed, we’ll co-create this space and our time together. Have a poem to share, a practice to lead, a story to tell? You’re welcome and encouraged to contribute it! You are also welcome to simply come, be present, and receive.

The Details:

  • We meet the first Friday of each month from 7 - 8:30, starting March 1, which is International Women’s Day!

  • This is an in-person gathering at HeartScapes Healing Arts Studio in Davis, CA

  • We can fit up to 12 people, and expect attendance to vary from month to month. Please RSVP at the link below.

  • Accessibility Notes: Our studio is on the second floor, accessible only by stairs. We provide a variety of types of seating, with various comfort items to help us all settle in.

This circle is offered on a donation basis. We define “donation” in a flexible way, meaning any contribution to the vibrancy and functioning of HeartScapes Studio and our circle. Your donation can be anything that you feel joyful to contribute to the space, including:

  • Monetary donation to support our class scholarships (which can be donated online when you RSVP, or in cash at the studio)

  • Items for the studio, such as: A box of candles, an instrument for our sound tool collection, a ritual or decor item that would be at home here, a fresh box of tea, a bouquet of flowers, etc.

  • Items for the gardens, such as: Seed packets, a bag of quality soil/compost, a good tool, garden decor to continue transforming the grounds into a fairy wonderland…

  • Your time & talent: Post a round of event fliers around town, clip down some YouTube videos into shorts, spend some time helping in the garden, or other tasks you’d feel great contributing.
